The department’s work annually earns national recognition for its outstanding compliance with accounting and reporting procedures. Finance staff coordinates all purchases, from pencils to fire trucks. They also work with bond counsel to administer the city’s long-term financing for large purchases and projects. Available funds are invested regularly to garner additional interest income.
