The City of Sand Springs continually strives to provide citizens information about our City. We have proudly published our Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) since 1996.

Government Finance Officers Association

The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) has given an Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting to City of Sand Springs for its PAFR for the last 22 years. The Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting is a prestigious national award recognizing conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government popular reports.

In order to receive an Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting, a government unit must publish a PAFR, whose contents conform to program standards of creativity, presentation, understandability and reader appeal.
