Animal Control
We have an adoption program for our homeless animals. For a charge of only $10, you can choose an animal to bring into your home. An additional deposit fee of $25 must be paid, but will be returned once you provide proof that you have spayed or neutered your animal. The $25 will be returned only if you have your animal spayed or neutered within 60 days of picking up your animal.
Animal Licenses: All domestic animals located within the city limits must be licensed by the City of Sand Springs. To obtain a free license for your animal, apply at City Hall (100 E Broadway), Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM. Applicants must provide current shot record (receipt from veterinarian) and proof that the animal is spayed or neutered. If acceptable documentation is not provided, the license cost will be $2.00 per animal.
All information will be provided to Animal Control and logged for future reference.
The Animal Control division's office hours are 8AM-5PM Monday thru Friday
